Four Seasons Healthcare

When FSHC decided to install their first Video Conferencing technology, they looked long and hard at what was available, taking their time to choose a system that was easy to install across their operational centres across the UK, provided easy to use platforms for their 21,000 staff, and a was backed by a supply partner who could manage the exacting demands of their organisation.

FSHC are one of the largest independent healthcare provider of nursing homes, care homes and specialist units throughout the UK. They own and operate over 500 care centres, hospitals and nursing homes across England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Channel Islands.

Case History:
The geographic dispersion of the FSHC sites demanded a great deal of time and travel for its board, senior management and care professionals. The demand to reduce costs as well as increase productivity demanded that new VC technology be explored to provide a solution to these issues.

While Skype was used on a fragmented basis, it proved unreliable and well below the service requirements of the company.

Investigation:
A demonstration of Vidyo was provided by Vidyo UK to Four Seasons senior management and ICT department. Although other systems were reviewed, after a side by side evaluation, it was clear that Vidyo provided the best quality flexibility, and investment of funds.

Outcome:
Various VidyoRoom systems were installed at sites across the UK and Ireland as well as VidyoDesktop and VidyoMobile throughout the company.

FSHC have been quick to adopt the technology and now have a large amount of desktop users.

“We wanted to make the right choise when we installed our first VC system. It had to be future proof, easy to install, provide ease of use and adoption, had to work without continual IT support requirements and had to be fully supported 24/7, 365. NAC continue to prove that Vidyo was the right choice for high-quality video conferencing between sites, rooms, desktops and mobile devices. Their normal support and professionalism goes beyond most companies best efforts.”
