Case History:
Harper Macleod had, until recently, been using Sony Video Conferencing Units on a mixture of IP and ISDN across their offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. This had served them relatively well for a time.
The system had become less reliable and did not meet the exacting quality standards required. Considerable IT support was required to set up and maintain connections before and during video conferencing meetings.
As well as a requirement for better, more reliable video conferencing, there was a need for high quality digital signage system in all Harper & Macleod offices, to convey a professional image of the business to private and commercial clients.
Investigation:
Richard Harvey, IT Director at Harper Macleod, attended a live, multi-point demonstration of Vidyo at our Edinburgh office. After rigorous analysis, he was impressed by the quality of the Vidyo system, the investment costs associated with the project, and the in-depth knowledge of the NAC team.
Outcome:
Within a strict timescale, NAC installed a mixture of VidyoRooms throughout Harper Macleod’s offices, providing immediate use with ‘click-to-call’ functionality, large displays in the office receptions and a digital signage system – installed and fully operational ahead of expected go-live date.
